ORDERING

    1. How do I purchase a product online?
      InkForMyPrinter.com gives you the ability to browse for supplies and parts by the make and model of your printer or fax and the option to locate the item by the exact part number. If you don't see your printer, please click here to contact us. We're glad to look it up for you.

      Online Ordering Steps

      Step 1
      Click on your printer brand.
      Step 2
      Click on your printer model or shop by cartridge #.
      Step 3
      Select the cartridge(s) and quantity that you want to order. You will then see your shopping basket with the item(s) in it.
      Step 4
      When your order is complete, click on the "Checkout" button at the top of the web page. Enter your shipping and billing info, and also your coupon code if available. To complete your order, hit the "Continue" button. Your order will now be processed. InkForMyPrinter.com uses a secure server with industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption. Online ordering with InkForMyPrinter.com is safe and secure.
      Step 5
      You will be taken to an order confirmation page, where you will receive an order number. You will also receive an e-mail verifying your order. Within 8 Hours, you will receive a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

    2. Can I order by check or mail/fax/telephone?
      To order by telephone, call us at (813) 929-6910. To order by check or mail/fax, simply download the order form in PDF format. Complete the form and then either mail or fax your order. Note: Check orders are only shipped after the check clears. Please allow five-business days after we receive your check for your shipment to take place. Please note that we charge either $15 or the maximum allowable by law for all dishonored checks.

      Once you reach the shopping cart check out, you will notice the "lock" symbol on the lower right hand corner of your screen. This indicates that the personal information you provide us for your order remains private and secure. In no way do we provide or sell any of your information to any other organization for any reason. All of your information remains internal for your privacy and protection.

    10. Why is my order not going through?

      Sometimes this is due to the AVS being declined. AVS can be declined because your shipping address is not the same location where you receive your credit card statement every month. If this address is not the same you need to include that address in the "Billing Information" fields when placing your order.

  1. OEM Cartridges:
    OEM is an abbreviation for Original Equipment Manufacturer. These manufacturers produce the replacement ink or toner for copiers or printers and normally will put the manufacturer's name on the product, such as Canon, IBM, Sharp, Lexmark, Brother, Epson, etc.

    Compatible Cartridges:
    Generic cartridges are specially manufactured to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and high standards of quality and reliability and offer high-quality printing results. Manufactured 100% brand new, containing only new components, they are an economical alternative to expensive name-brand cartridges and supplies, and allow for big savings over brand-name cartridges and supplies.

    Remanufactured Cartridges:
    Remanufactured cartridges have been recycled to meet or exceed OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. The recycling and reprocessing process involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, replacing worn parts, reassembling, and filling the toner or ink. Once the remanufacturing process is complete, the cartridge is then print tested, sealed, and packaged for resale.

    Will using Compatible/Remanufactured cartridges void the warranty of my printer?
    No, the use of Compatible/Remanufactured replacement cartridges does not void your Printers Warranty, which is proven by the following US Congress New Legislation.

    Chapter 50 Consumer Product Warranties
    15 Section 2302

    "(c) No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate name; except that the prohibition of this subsection be waived by the commission if:

    1) The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and

    2) the Commission finds that such a waiver is in the public interest."

  2. How can I tell what cartridges to buy for my printer?
    Look through our product line and find the name of your printer.
     
  3. My printer is not listed
    Unfortunately, many cartridges have patented components. Until the patents expire, no other companies can legally make replacements. Eventually when the patents expire we hope to be able to supply you with replacements for more brands. If you do not see your brand listed, please Contact Us for help. We may have cartridges for you printer not currently listed on our web site.

  4. Why won't my cartridge fit into my printer?
    Depending on the cartridge model, a temporary plastic clip may be attached to the cartridge. This clip is to help seal and protect the cartridge during transit. Check to make sure this plastic transport clip is removed from your inkjet cartridge. If this is not the problem, check to verify that you have the correct inkjet cartridge model for your printer.

  5. My printer gives me an error message.
    If an error message pops up on your screen, it is most likely due to dirty electrical contacts on the cartridge, or possibly on the printer where the electrical contacts meet. Clean off the contacts with folded paper towel dipped in alcohol and try again. Be careful not to pull up the edges of the cartridge electrical contact ribbon. Circular motions work best.

    If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of our products, FOR ANY REASON, you may return the cartridge(s) within 90 Days of purchase for replacement or refund. Click here to request authorization and we'll make it right. Subject to the following general conditions: 1) Cartridges which are more than 75% used may not be returned as defective. 2) Cartridges that are tampered with after receipt, may not be returned.

  2. Warranty
    Any item purchased from InkForMyPrinter.com is covered by a 180-Day Warranty and must be returned within 30 days of the expiration of the Warranty. Warranty limited to recycled products only and does not apply to repairs, cleaning, or other expenses. InkForMyPrinter.com will send a replacement for any items covered by the warranty.

  3. Returns
    Cartridges which develop problems may be returned subject to the following general conditions: 1) Cartridges which are more than 75% used may not be returned as defective. 2) Cartridges that are tampered with after receipt, may not be returned.

    Not all printing problems are the result of defective cartridges. Please consult your printer owner's manual. It is important to store cartridges in an upright position at least long enough for the ink to move through the sponge to the bottom of each cartridge before it is used, and to remove the yellow tab on top of the cartridge where applicable. (For HP & Lexmark, remove the hard plastic cover protecting the print head.) If strange colors or no printing are experienced a cotton swab with alcohol can be used to clean the print head and contacts on the cartridge and on the printer. Then the print head cleaning software should be used.

    All returns must be authorized by InkForMyPrinter.com. Click here to request Authorization, giving the reason for the return. If it is determined that the merchandise needs to be returned, InkForMyPrinter.com will issue a Return Authorization Number. This number is necessary for a return to be accepted.

    Please include the following information:

    A copy of your invoice you received when you received your order. If you don't have the invoice, then please include a note with your order number, the name on the order, the address the order was shipped to, the e-mail address used for the order and a phone number to contact you if needed. If any replacement item(s) were sent out to you, a refund will not be issued unless the original item(s) and the replacement item(s) are returned within our warranty. If the item(s) returned meet the requirements, your refund will be issued by the same method of payment you used to purchase the item(s) less any original shipping and handling cost unless, your request was made after the first 90 days of your purchase, it would then be refunded by check.

    A return package slip will be mailed to you. Please place the cartridge back in the box and attach the new return label. After you receive the return label go to www.usps.com and schedule a carrier pick-up, the service is free. Your mail carrier will pick-up the package even if you are not home.

    Please note: InkForMyPrinter.com is not a wholeseller. If you intend to purchase item(s) from InkForMyPrinter.com and resell them, the item(s) purchased will hold no warranty and no cash value. They will be considered to be "As Is".
